The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) has been named the new Executive Agency for the Asia- Pacific Center for Security Studies, effective October 1, 2005. APCSS will continue maintain a close working relationship with the U.S. Pacific Command.DSCA also now serves as EA to the four other U.S. Department of Defense regional centers — George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies, The Africa Center for Strategic Studies, Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies, and Near East-South Asia Center for Strategic Studies.
